Cheryl Cook was honored with the 2023 Channel Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her remarkable impact on the IT channel over a distinguished three-decade career. Cook began her career in the mid-1980s at NCR, where she served as sales director, and she later held key roles at Sun Microsystems and Nuance Communications, where she continued her steadfast support of the channel.

In 2011, Cook joined Dell Technologies, where she has played a pivotal role in driving the company's channel success. Starting as the vice president of enterprise solutions, she quickly transitioned into the channel organization, ultimately becoming Dell’s senior vice president of global partner marketing. In this role, she has been instrumental in shaping Dell’s long-term partner marketing strategies and fostering deep engagement within its extensive partner ecosystem.

Under Cook’s leadership, Dell’s global channel business grew significantly, now accounting for over 40% of the company’s total revenue. Her relentless advocacy for the partner community has provided essential support, including advanced marketing tools, training, events, and MDF programs, which have enabled countless partners to thrive.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Cook is deeply committed to empowering the next generation of women leaders in business and technology. As the founder and executive sponsor of the Dell Technologies Women’s Partner Network, she has played a crucial role in uniting and inspiring women across the IT channel. Her involvement in initiatives such as Dell’s Women in Action and the Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network further demonstrates her dedication to inclusivity and leadership development.
